The report reaching us now indicate that "The Abobaku" The one who dies with the king has ran away from the palace. For those hearing this for the first time, Abobaku is the person that is appointed to serve a king during his lifetime and they (Abobaku) are to be buried with the king when he eventually dies.

Abobaku are like the second- in-command to the King as they live like king themselves, The position gives them respect and other numerous benefits in the town. When the Ooni was crowned in 1980, the kingmakers selected someone known as abobaku. His primary role is to live the rest of his life with the king, enjoying everything the king enjoys, live unrestricted life, he can even upturn any decision made by the king if he choose to do so.
