Report reaching us now indicate that the officials of the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN)
have barricaded the headquarters of the agency in Lagos. According to Premium
Times, It was reported on May 18th that an official of FAAN, Mohammed
Shuaibu was beaten until he fell into coma by two unidentified Nigerian
Air Force officers in charge of traffic at the departure section of the
terminal wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport Lagos. meanwhile angry protesters were seen marching towards the international wing of the airport, and their plan seems to
have coincided with the visit of the Minister of Aviation, Osita Chidoka
who is set to attend a function there.
According to an eye-witness the activities at the FAAN headquarters have been grounded by
the angry protesters.
“The minister of
Aviation just arrived at the international wing of the airport for a
function and the protesters are heading their as I speak now,” the witness said.

The airport worker ( Mohammed
Shuaibu) that was beaten to coma by the air force men is currently receiving treatment in the hospital.
