Report reaching us indicates that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has just lose one of its strong member, Chief Ayiri Emami, to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State.
According to Chief Ayiri Emami, the reason why he defected to the opposition, the All Progressives Congress (APC) is because the PDP can no longer provide the needed shelter for Deltans.
“The PDP umbrella is leaking and can no longer provide the needed shelter for us”, Vanguard reports.
The billionaire and founder of the 911 Beach & Resort in Ugborodo, Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State.Warri, announced his defection at his home in Ubeji, near Warri.
The former chairman of the PDP in Warri South-West Local Government Area, while announcing his defection displayed his new party (APC) card and urged people of the state to vote for the APC’s governorship candidate, Olorogun O’tega Emerhor, in the forthcoming governorship election on April 11 , pointing out that he, his people and political associates had been living in fear of the unknown for quite some years under the PDP.
