Court Stops AIT From Airing "The Lion of Bourdillo" A Documentry On Tinubu

 

A Lagos State high court has granted injunction barring, Daar Communications (AIT) from airing a documentary titled, “The Lion of Bourdillon” pending the determination of “The Motion on Notice” the Trent reports.

 

The Court led by Honourable Justice Akinkugbe I.O. gave the directive today after the application was moved by Chief Wole Olanipekun, SAN, the lead counsel for the national leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, (the Plaintiff/Applicant] in the defamation case against Daar Communications (the owner of the African Independent Television).

Chief Mike Ozekhome, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), was the counsel to the defendant during the hearing of the case on March 16, 2015.

The case has been adjourned by the court for Interlocutory Injunction on the application of the defendant/respondent counsel to Friday, March 20, 2015.
