Gunmen Numbering About Four Murdered Honeywell Staff, Mr Benson Ogunadi

The State Criminal Investigation Department Panti Yaba are investigating the assassination of a Staff of Honey Well Flour  Mill.

According to naij.com suspected gunmen n trailed one Mr. Benson Ogunadi, who was a Protocol Officer of Honeywell Flour Mill and shot him dead in his car along the U-turn Bus stop at Abule-Egba area of Lagos State on November 30th.
A resident in the area  who requested anonymity tells Naij that the gun men drove roughly and blocked the deceased car before shooting  him in the head  about 4pm.

“I was not around when the incident happened but i  learnt that they trailed the man to the U-turn Bus Stop and shot him several times in the head. We suspect that they are assassins because they  did not take anything from the car. They did not rob him. They were after his life and they ensured they took it. After  they killed him, they fled and left the deceased cold dead

 READ WHAT ANOTHER WITNESS SAID:

 Mrs Joyces Kenneth who claimed to know the deceased said  the family suspects Mr. Ogunadi was murdered because of the promotion he recently got in his office.

“He just got promotion to the new rank as the protocol officer and he was given a brown new car and other benefits.  We suspect that his murder is related to the promotion but only the police can come up with proof about this”.

 

When contacted over the incident, the  Spokes person or the Lagos State police Command , DSP Kenneth Nwosu confirmed the incident. He said “It is true that the incident happened.  The case has been transferred to the Homicide Department at Panti  Yaba for further investigation”
