Prominent Ekiti Leaders Warned Ekiti People In Diaspora

A group known as Ekiti Leaders of thoughts has warned Ekiti people in diaspora to stop pitching together the former governor Dr.kayode fayemi and the incumbent governor Mr. Ayodele Peter Fayose.

The group in a press release stated that ekiti people in diaspora should help move the state forward instead of castigating out-gone governor and the newly elected Governor.

Ekiti Leaders of Thoughts appeal to all Ekitis in diaspora to desist from castigating Ekiti leaders, condemning former Governor Fayemi or the incumbent, Dr. Ayodele Fayose is a dangerous trend capable of denting the image of the good people of Ekitis, because both are our torch bearers .


The Group commends the appointment of Dr. Mrs Modupe Alade as the Secretary to the State Government, being a woman of good character and a retired Permanent Secretary in the State, her presence as one of the major factor will enhance women participation in governance.

Council of Leaders also congratulates all other appointees, most especially Mr. Lere Olayinka, we must begin to place leaders in positions of responsibilities all the people appointed so far are the right people who had worked assiduously for the emergence of Dr. Fayose. its putting the right pegs in the right hole, however, the notable oppositions must be considered ,its a logic that helps in sustaining democracy.

The Council of Leaders observed the good work of Ekitis in diaspora on image laundering and efforts at properly positioning Ekitis for peaceful development, Mrs Florence Adeyemo and Mr. Anthony Ayodele are really doing a great job in this area.

The Leaders of thoughts will use the opportunity of its visit to South Africa to educate Ekitis of the mischievous image damage ,done by the South West media, believing that some of them have compromised the ethics of their profession, they fabricates suitable lies to please their masters by destroying the image of the state at any slightest opportunity. They are fastly loosing their credibility to facebook information.
