Nigerian comedian Julius Agwu has joined other Nigeria's celebrities that have the intention of running in the upcoming election in Nigeria.
Julius Agwu made this known to his fans at his annual comedy show " Crack Ya Ribs"
the comedian is not contesting for senate or house of reps unlike his colleagues.he unveiled at his popular annual show that he will be contesting in the governorship election in river state come next year..
“My ambition to be a governor is born out of the need for the youths to have a say in governance. As you already know today is The Declaration. I am officially telling the world that Julius Agwu is running for governorship in Rivers State in 2015.”
The comedian went further:
“Whether we like it or not, we have been playing our own part as entertainers. Over the years I have built a sustainable brand and exported it. Whether we like it or not, I am an entrepreneur; I have the ability to manage resources. That is why I have decided to serve my people.”
