Lagos State Govt set to donates N50million to First Consultant Hospital














The first consultant hospital will be getting helping hand from Lagos state government.According to a reliable source the incident of the Kenyan man that died of ebola in the hospital really have negative effect on the hospital.

Yesterday in a move to help the hospital, Lagos state government has promised to give first consultant hospital N50million Naira.The money is given to them as a business support and also to support people that lost their loved ones and those who recovered from the deadly Virus.


The Lagos state commissioner for Health Dr Jide Idris,while addressing the press in Alausa yesterday says"
















"Having addressed the human angle in containing the outbreak, there is now the need to address the economic consequences. Under consideration are the following: Support to the affected persons including those alive and N50million lump sum as business support gesture to the First Consultant Medical Centre. This is with view to getting the people/businesses back on their feet and for businesses to re-secure patronage of their customers. It needs clearly be stated that this is not an attempt at compensation but a gesture of goodwill on the part of government.” he said
